研究方向

表觀遺傳學 (Epigenetics) 為在不改變DNA序列情況下,調控基因表現的機制,進而影響細胞生理、個體發育與疾病發展 (例如癌症生成)。其機制包括DNA甲基化 (DNA methylation)、組蛋白修飾 (histone modifications)、非編碼RNA (non-coding RNA) 調控。目前我們的研究欲探討訊息傳遞路徑如何調控DNA甲基轉移酶 (DNMT) 活性,進一步想瞭解此機制對於造血作用,血癌形成與化療藥物反應之衝擊。除了造血系統外,對於DNA甲基化在其他癌症的影響也感到興趣,目前首先著重於大腸癌。
